For Islamabad I got the message 1 day earlier from delivery day. However someone I know in dealership has shared me the dispatch list on same day when car was dispatched from company

Checked with the dealership,
They are hoping for delivery Monday or Tuesday
Hope and pray it gets delivered before the new sales tax is imposed

Also checked with the Metro tyre shop close to Honda Point
Neither Honda, nor the tyre shop are recommending 60% profile tyres, though they are available.
Recommendation is to go for 185/65 or 195/65.
I'm leaning towards 195/65
Has anyone used that size

They have tyres available in Yokohoma, Continental as well Dunlop
I will probably go for Continental as recommended by several fellow members here
It's priced at Rs17,000 per tyre so 68,000 for 4 tyres
They will deducted Rs 24,000 for stock tyres at Rs 6,000 per tyre
So I will end up paying Rs 44,000 for tyre replacement.

Would anyone like to comment on price quoted here.

Dont worry bro sales tax revision is for under 1000cc cars if any. We have already paid 17% gst. Honda wont charge

New city is already too much raised, which makes the ride bit bouncy.. going to 195/65 will disturb car stability and braking and it's about 4% increase which is not a recommended profile.

With 185/65, and 5 adults onboard, car still have good enough road clearance.

I thought mainly the width will increase with a 195 tyre which will give more stability
The height profile will remain the same at 65%, so will not jack up the car much higher.

65 is aspect ratio of width of the tyre.. so if width increases so do the height (65% of tyre width).

with 6+ people on board city still has too much clearance. seriously its messed up, ususally the ride gets better with more people ion board, but not in GM6 case. coz the car still is sitting way too high

Yes, indeed..
Now I'm driving Elantra, and trust me with every breaker I need to be careful about clearance. But yes lower the ride more stable it is .

For pakistani roads low suspension is not recommended. Elantra looks dashing and big car but rd clearance is issue. Its a headache. Thank God this city has good road clearance

High raised cars breaking and stability is badly effected by higher center of gravity.
This was the only reason I sold my City, as I don't feel much in control on motorway due to bouncy ride.. otherwise it's such a beautiful comfortable and economical car.

The price quoted for 185/65/r15 is Rs 15,500 per Continental tyre
Actually the final price for 195 was Rs 16,500
