Let's see, dealers have been quoting arrival of 6th gen for last 5 years. If they are to go by we should have already had it.
There has been no leak of GN1 test unit. There has been a GM6 import though.

Exactly. Dealers were making tall claims about how amazing 6th gen is gonna be when it's launched in 2014 / 2015. Their current claims aren't reliable for anyone who waited for new model in 2015 based on their claims
It could also be a ploy to stop those people who were planning on buying Honda Grace for better quality and features, and just in case they get into an accident they can put parts of local 6th gen.
I don't think that would be a significant enough number to warrant such tactics. Fresh import Grace now costs nearly as much as Civic anyways.

Wont give airbags, because in case of accident the car will devalue a lot, plus airbags cost and dashboard replacement. Sunroof and cruise looks more likely. More shashka, Cruise is the easiest.

if they launch the 6th Gen after more than 10 years it will be quite disappointing

I hope this thread name won't change to "Never coming PKDM Honda City 6th or 7th" in future. Buyers are hanging in between and confused. While Honda PK is acting like "Pardanasheen" Khanum.

Even if Honda launches new generation of City i would be reluctant to buy it, i have observed whenever new model is launched there are some issues in it. And in 2,3 years they are normally fixed as the issues appear. Maybe i would wait until new generationโs updated model. Also hearing how Yaris is having certain issues n people are going mad about it. Maybe its a new model and company is in โlearningโ stage of making Yaris.
What issues are those?
Fuel Pump malfunction.
A single user has raised that issue in Yaris thread. But I don't think it's a wide spread issue as I haven't seen anyone else mention it.
its a malfunction which Toyota should be able to adjust while setting its ECU or something.However in the case I witnessed repeated attempts didn't solve the problem and what disturbed me most was Toyota's avoidance of changing it under warranty.
