is there any benefit to paying 7 lac vs the whole 37-38 lac for booking City Aspire 1.5? E.g. paying full price protects me in anyway in terms of delivery time and against price hikes?

I only paid FED and I didn’t pay the difference as my TDD was april and booking created before Nov 10. So my invoice was of 3,454,000/- excluding freight and tax grand total 3,520,000/-

Could you share if you paid full price initially or were asked for it by Honda atlas ? I’m being asked to pay a pay order of 7 lac but I’m sure if paying full price is better for me is instead better for me.?

I think no use of full payment in case of Honda, Hyundai and KIA, in case of Toyota and Suzuki full payment may be helpful but Honda and KIA are black mailers, they will keep on charging you price hike even if you have paid full amount. So better to avoid Honda and KIA till their issues are resolved, better to select Toyota, or Suzuki for now. Toyota and Suzuki have still a better customer oriented policies while other are making a profitable situation for the Own Mafia and hitting their own customers.

No i paid it at my own. Someone told me that he will get my car early if i pay full amount now but all in vain nothing happened.. my recommendation is to Initially pay 7 lac. And instead of 1 month you should pay complete payment 2 months before TDD date. May be you’ll survive.

Not a single company in pakistan is customer oriented/ anti own mafia. All are hands in glove with each other.. just book whatever you like and wait.. don’t go for own. Ultimately they will learn the lesson.

Hey guys, are the headlight bulbs in Honda City 2022 model user replaceable? I want to get aftermarket ones if available in good quality as I remember replacing the stock ones in my 2015 model City long ago.

If they're replaceable anyone know the specification that I need to search for on Amazon etc?

Honda's brochure only mentions Premium Dual-Barrel Halogen as the headlight type.

Yes, they are replaceable but why do you want to replace them? The stock ones are of Philips.

Full payment always give benefit to customer one way or the other. In my case I had to pay 50% of the increase due to full payment which was paid 1.5 month before price hike. It all depends on the conditions mentioned in the circular published by Honda. I believe full payment gives benefit in any case. I wonder people who didnt like to pay "on money" around 1 to 2 lakh now ended up paying 5 to 7 lakh extra later due to price hike. What is bad in "on money"? Even the ready made garments are expensive but u get the privilege to wear at the same time. All readily available stuff is charged bit extra. Person who has only 1 house car cant wait for 6 to 8 months for car delivery becase that same person probably has to sell car first to book new car.

When do you get a TDD assigned? My salesperson showed me some letter saying I could have my 1.5 CVT delivered in June if u order by end of April. I wanna figure out if I'm being sold snake oil or its legit

This is a video link regarding some weird metallic noise my city 1.5 CVT has been making on cold starts. And after cold start it keeps making similar metallic sounds intermittently while driving and then completely goes away after a couple mins. Some rare times I've heard this sound when the car is hot as well. Anyone got any idea what it is?

Delivery time depends upon 2-3 things. Choice of colour. Type of variant. Showroom quotta. For E.g honda A dealership have booked 30 cars vs Honda B dealership has booked only 10 cars in one month.. so any further booking/ delivery date for honda A is going to be more than honda B. Inorder to keep give benefits to all showrooms. So try to check delivery date from 2-3 different showrooms within your reach. And honda aspire cvt and 1.2 cvt are hot cakes plus black and red colour there delivery will automatically be late as compared to white colour and manual variant plus 1.5 simple cvt variant.

My understanding from your post is that 1.5 Aspire CVT isn't that popular so I can get a faster delivery time?

I plan to go with the June delivery dealership as opposed to going with the other dealership who quoted me September and proceeded to offer me a car with 1 lac own (Yea, no thanks).

I hope June quoted date is not a carrot dangling on a stick just to look me in to booking with them.

Sometimes i feel the entire structure is corrupt otherwise it's not that complicated to put an online tracking system where you can see a delivery date for your booking and bypass all dealership mind games.
