They have an argument, they say you paid by your own will, we did not force you to pay more than the partial booking amount necessary.

Policy says "Initial Booking" and all Manufacturers mention "Initial Booking" amount is 10Lac so they are legally correct.

Here are some rough calculations based on 12lacs vs 10 lacs booking. Differences in Kibor+3 rate applied and also number of Days is creating difference in what you got VS what we are calculating.

I have deposited 12 lacs on 27 Aug 2021 as advance payment and as per 2 months, its TDD should be 27 Oct 21, but my TDD was 30 Apr 22 and I will be given delivery in month of May and I have recieved letter from Honda also for late delivery for the month of May.
now as per ur calc if i m delivered on 15 May 22, the late delivery compensation becomes 83k with 200 days late delivery.
Will Honda pay me 83k and if not how to claim???

I booked the Aspire version and paid 12 Lakhs at the end of Dec 21.
My TDD was April 30 and I have been informed today the car has been dispatched and I would receive in 3 days. So it is strange that they took booking from you in August and still youre expected delivery is in May.

I have no reference, friend or relative in Honda, didnt even bother asking them about delivery date during these 4 months and it looks like I would be receiving the car on schedule.

Booked it from Shahrah Faisal Honda Showroom.
And surprise surprise, they are also asking for registration and Insurance amount now at the time of delivery lol

Yes But it also depends on the average Kibor rate (which varies month to month), so let say average Kibor is 10% for this period and 3% additional now calculation will be (using 13%);

Ideally they should pay you soon after car delivery But yes after car delivery just ask Dealership to update on the matter (May be also email the Official Notification etc). Once you raise concern they will update you soon and will speed up the process.

I booked from Honda classic Islamabad and their response has been poor even at the time of booking.
I rang couple of times in these 8 months and they simply replied that its 30 April. now recieved ltr from Honda that they will try delivering in May 2022.
I believe that dealer also matter. moreover i had heard that all those who booked till Dec 2021 were given delivery date of Apr 2022.
lets hope that political and economical turmoil doesnt efffect more in delivery timeline

Absolutely, dealership certainly matters and they do deliberately sometimes delay due to a number of reasons. Also it depends on availability and your luck when I was booking this back in December the lady who is my booking agent offered to sell me a open invoice Aspire with zero own available at their showroom. Their offer was pretty good but I didnt have the full cash ready at that time and also it was a White Aspire and I was looking to book Modern Steel.

I always thought CVT can give better fuel economy when compared to manual, but this real world test prove it's not as efficient as manual.

So the only benefit we get from CVT is ease of driving. The downside is fragile transmission with poor acceleration and high maintenance cost.

I don't know why people like it so much in Pakistan

CVT is fuel efficient compared to AT only.

Manuals have always been more fuel efficient. AGS is by far most fuel efficient technology.

How is diesel engine so much more efficient. bachpan se yehi suna tha kay petrol is more refined, gives better drive, protects engine and better economy.

I just gave you rough estimates, only dealership/Honda can give you accurate numbers.
Here are some things that can vary
1. Kibor rate daily change hosakta hay, so what average have they used?
2. Days calculation can be OFF as they only consider from day Cheque/Pay order is cleared
So you could achieve the same 23500 by taking 12lacs and reducing number of days and Kibor average percentage.
Dealership/Honda can tell you what they have used.
