Pls compare with the tax on the previous year which is shown in brackets. This year it shows in positive, meaning they had some sort of a tax rebate or claim, hence the ‘decrease’ in loss.
BTW I’m only commenting based on the image posted and the article itself. I have not gone through their financial statements myself.

It is foolish if you think overall price increase of vehicles can benefit the one who already a vehicle. It's a loss for everyone.
If you sell your vehicle today, you have to buy from the same companies who are increasing prices every other day.

Hello all. I booked a city 1.5 cvt on 10th of jan 2022. My tdd was 30/4/22. Dealership asked on 20 march to pay remaining payment which i paid on 22/3/22. On 24/3/22 honda revised prices. I still have not received the car. Now yesterday there was another hike. My question is where do i fall in these price increases? Will i be charged nothing or will i be charged one price hike or will i be charged with two price hikes or will i be charged the price at the time of delivery? It’s getting very confusing now

No.......its a win win situation for those who have already bought 2021 n 2022 model. After 3 to 4 yrs if they sell it, they will sell at a very good price hence they will need little extra to exchange with new zero meter car at that point. In 8 months since launch there in an increase of approx 600,000 in 1.2 cvt ex factory. After few yrs one probably need to add approx 600,000 after selling 3 to 4 yrs used car to get a new zero meter car city. I hope u understood the logic.

Inflation is a loss loss for all buyers old and new. Next time when they need to buy - their old car will still be worth much much less than new car prices at the time.

Agreed, in this age of inlfation one should keep changing their zero meter car every three years before it gets too devalued , cars are now an asset in Pakistan. Anyone who bought a city in 2021/22 just needs to add a few more lakhs to get a zero meter in the same catergory after 3-4 years. Compared to those with much older models. Pakistan ke halat nai ke gari ko zayada lamba rakha jae like anyone who bought a civic X in 2016 and sell it for 32 lac now has to pay double to upgrade it to new civic.
