i think Honda is going to skip Civic this time and bring 7th generation City ,Any ways my guess is as good as any one else here

I think Honda is waiting for the full reveal of Civic 11 before deciding on whether to launch 6th or 7th gen city, civic is no doubt the flagship of the brand, if the capital to bring civic 11 is low then Honda will launch 7th gen city but if the capital required is high then they will bring 6th gen city.

In my personal opinion along with city they should be more focused on launching a crossover like hrv or crv crossovers are all the rage these days and they should bring one now I think it will be better then waiting 2-3 years for the next civic

In my opinion they are giving time to other automakers to launch whatever they have planned then they will reveal new city with extra huge shark fin antenna which will cover whole roof area. This time they will remove the trunk and add 3rd row for passengers. Shark fin antenna can be used as luggage carrier

This product will not only beat other sedans but also 7 seater MPVs and SUVs

So pray automakers stop launching new models

Looking at at delivery status of various new models may it be CBUs or CKDs I think its best to lie low until the new comers have settled down with regular plants and 3S dealerships.Also when MG has cleared its issues notwithstanding their Ad campaign and arrival of remaining new comers like Peugeot and Chery.The new budget may also unfold fresh duty rates and the new Auto policy is also due in JUN'21.Too many ifs and buts making things very fluid and confusing.So it seems my Civic 1.8 Oriel X Gen.is just fine and their is no use of taking "pangas" and unnecessary try to fulfil one's "thurk" of new car/models.

Now Even Honda Indonesia Launches 7th gen City Hatch back whose footsteps are followed by Honda Atlas

I think Honda Atlas would launch 7th generation City because the 11th gen Civic is a big flop looking towards its shape

Second you on the Civic 11 thing. Doesnt look impressive at all, Civic X looks better. I think it is gonna be Reborn and Rebirth thing all over again!

well. Honda Indonesia was also selling a GM6 City when Pakistan was selling GM5 and still doing it. Again Indonesia has a hatchback and not a sedan. You follow Indonesia but it does not mean, what they offer , Honda Atlas follows that.

BTW , the availability of hatchback only in Indonesia in that way could be bummer because, that would further solidify the fact that we might not be getting a 7th gen Sedan. Additionally the GM6 is still for sale in Indonesia.. its not removed from the lineup. So, Atlas still have reasons to keep GM6 alive and relevant.

11 gen Civic even lets assume if is looking better to you, it will not come to Pakistan before mid 2022. The major problem with 7th generation in launch is the pricing for PK market. Do you want a lets assume a 3.5 Million for City ? I am sure not at all.

I hope GN1/ 7th generation comes but we dont know yet.

let's wait for USDM launch. I am sure it will look way different although being the same vehicle as we have seen today . It all depends on how they dress the vehicle. Again styling and other parameters are subjective. Civic X is the benchmark vehicle in the segment , lets hope Honda dont mess it up.

I would buy 7th gen City if the the full option variant falls in 3.4 Million price bracket
