Pakwheels inspection report says everything non-accidental , mechanical 100% , cosmetically Interior is dirty and bonnet , foot guards and bumper paint. According to owner it was hit by a dog. I'm getting it for 42.50 lacs. Can anybody from Sialkot help in inspection or general checkup today ?

I dont want to under value someone elses car, Even my 1 month old car was hit by Mazda and bonnet had to be replaced.

Fuel economy in city is around 11-12 for me. Have not taken the car on the highway yet. Suspension is firm and ride quality is decent.

So following up, I did go till Lulusar Lake during last week Naran trip on my Aspire CVT.
The car performed admirably and I got around 14kmpl average from Islamabad round trip. I used regular fuel all the way.
I was scared of how CVT will perform but overall I didn't feel the engine or transmission lagging.
The ground clearance is very good and I have been successful in navigating the journey without a ding or scratch.

One small concern, during a sharp descent, I put the car from D to S to garner some engine braking. The car was sufficiently warmed up and was being driven. However, the RPM went to 1500 twice then came down to 1200. It was like transmission was trying to engage engine braking but then letting go. I am scared of using the word, slipping.
Anyways, I put it back in D and spent next few minutes driving normally. I did engage S and L later in the same journey and it put RPM to 2000-3000 normal operation.

Should I tell this to Honda? Is this a thing or am I reading too much into it? Car is only driven 2000 km including said trip.

Use L or B for engine braking.
S is for ascends

B is for engine braking. In S it just tries to hold on to the RPM depending on how hard you're on the accelerator.

Also I've noticed generally everyone here is far more concerned of CVT in hilly areas in this city model. Please remember BRV is also CVT, it is the first entry level 6 seater every rental car operator has for our hilly areas and is quite a workhorse.

Slipping is the right word, Which older CVTs felt more.

S is mostly used for OD down shift/Over taking. Maintaining speeds.

Probably that's why the particular behavior you felt.

Reving CVTs hard makes them hot. Most Toyota hybrids fail to climb Shogran and transmission heat lights pop up half way too.

For older toyotas if you rev them on a constant for a little longer you can even smell bad fumes specially on a Toyota Vitz.

So don't worry and relax.

Recently got a 1.5 Aspire Alhumdulilah. I was looking for civic x in 50 lakhs but could not find a good one, every single person including dealership owners discouraged me from buying pre-2018 civic

So here we are, White 1.5 Aspire, 3K on ODO. Practically new and in much better condition than the civics I was getting. However, I am a car guy who likes to tastefully improve the car's looks and functions. It is not as customizable as the civic, but better than other options in this price. Started off with wrapping the grill black. Looks much better IMO, might go for a complete chrome delete later. I love how it looks from the front, but the rear side is kinda meh. Did the mandatory rear tint, improves it a bit. More coming soon.

Some carbon fibre goodies. Aspire has much better interior materials than non aspire (bare bones interior), but the steering, gear knob and rear ac vents are pretty low quality. Got a CF steering cover stitched, cheap and does the job. + bonus keyfob cover Looking for gear knob and ac vent trims, could not find here.

Ok so in S it would come back to 1000 RPM, I thought it would stay around 2k RPM considering I was on a descent but maybe the car picks and chooses based on internal variables. Ohh well. The car is performing very well all the way to Pindi and even spent a day here afterwards so no issues.

Door cards and arm rest leather. Handbrake, Handles, dashboard and silver trims on dashboard, including ac vents trims. Honda calls it hi grade interior i think it is a 55k option in 1.2 and standard in aspire. I breifly kept and sold a 1.2 manual last year and this aspire felt much better due to these small things. If you have a 1.2 get these things done, will feel much better.

As per Honda dealership the 55k option upgrade is different from what you get in the aspire. It makes no sense to have 3 different types of interior upholstery, but that's what they say

Can anyone confirm if citys steering is similar in dimensions to vezel?

Silver trims are similar across the board in Honda City unlike Yaris.

Driver side AC panel is only piano black in Aspire. Rest all piano black is similar in aspire and 1.2 City

Chrome in door handles and handbrake is limited to Aspire only.

For rs. 55,000 Honda only offers leather/Rexene interior only.

If you have a list of accessories offered in rs. 55,000 please share.
