Aoa all,
Drove my City after quite sometime and found out that the stock tires are completely finished, my driver has told me before but it's daily commute was 2km back and forth so I didn't see it necessary
Under hard braking, when it reaches below 30-40, on any type of road surface, it skids/slips or does some sort of dance with the abs that I can't seem to understand. My driver has rear ended a car like this but I'm not sure whether it was the tires, his lack of distance from the car in front or both.
Also, and maybe more concerningly, wheelspin. In these cold nights, it won't grip the road at 1/3 accelrator when I'm already at 40kmh, and giving full throttle gives the phenomenon of steering wheel pointed one way and car itself another way.
Car has been driven 40,000km and all of those on the factory tyres, has anyone else experienced anything similar? I also encountered lift-off oversteer with this City, though I suppose that might just be becuase of it being so light/high up from the back.
Anyways, the actual reason I'm writing this is I need some feedback for tires for the thing, ideally something that priortize comfort and noise insulation first, unless of course it's impossible to fix City's godawful ride. Any suggestions would be helpful. Honda classic allowed me to go for 185 without voiding my warranty, so there's that.
Thanks in advance
