No official word and certainly dealerships have no info the ones who claim to are lying. The only evidence is a year old import record of 6th gen, but just like there's import of cerato aswell and car got cancelled. Alot can change in a year

7th Generation has to be introduced if they want to stay in the game for long.

Introducing 7th generation would also enable them to launch the new model of HR-V in the future since it shares the same platform with City. Old Generation HR-V (Vezel) is boring considering the current lineup of CUVs / SUVs available in the market.

Yeah, 11th gen civic will most likely cross 4.2 million mark. Due to tough competition with growing SUV segment in that price segment, City and HR-V is the future for Altas. Civic got discontinued in India, 11th gen civic might not enjoy the same success as previous ones did as alternatives for consumer market in increasing.

Just heard a news in watsapp forum that New city, looks like 7th gen, will be launching in Mid April and deliveries starting from June. it was also written as it cost 50K above Yaris.

after the news Hcar share jumps from Rs. 278 to Rs. 293.

and by the way people who booked their City in March , the current City are having delivery months of June and July.. I mean why someone will take that delivery in June/ July if a new city is coming in mid April?

This would be operational disaster for Honda Atlas. Honda cant deliver a city with 10 year in production within a month and 2 and you are talking about new City with delivery within 2 months.

Bhai all this fake news is spread in market to divert attention of buyer from other products. Look at Changan. They opened booking an hour after saga launch [around 7pm on Sunday ] and when buyers went to dealer [ 9am on Monday] there is actually no booking and they said quota is complete.
