Honda is still I guess offering 6th gen in Indonesia so very unlikely theyโll launch the 7th here.
Itโs probably going to be the same spec car as offered in the Indonesian market plus a cvt with all engines which would be good for fuel efficiency but that would compromise driving pleasure which although is already non-existent in these cars offered to us here.
Instead of HRV, Atlas could launch the next gen BRV that is rumored to launch in Indonesia on May 3rd.

2nzfe was not an option for 10th and 11th gen corolla either, yet indus managed to fit and bring it. I assume atlas can do it too.
I don't expect that from Atlas.. we know that
7th gen is using l15z1 in some markets, same engine as 5th gen 1.5. That engine is basically the same as l13z1, just with a bigger stroke and different tuning and ecu. The weight difference is negligible and the dimensions are the same, so I am sure they can easily manage that if indus managed to fit an engine with completely different dimensions. Atlas has done a whole lot worse to not expect this from them. Although I am pretty sure its gonna be the 6th gen facelift and not the 7th gen. A salesperson from honda airport motors pretty much confirmed that to me as well.

According to Sunil Bhai, the launch could be as late as August because of Nonavailability of Chips. But atleast they must reveal the display units and open the bookings with partial amounts.
reality of corolla 1.3, atlas having reduced engine capacity to bring city under 1300cc at first, 1300cc class in pak going strong as hell with a lot of competition and yaris being the new main competitor with 1.3 are more than enough evidence of atlas going to soldier on with the 1.3 here. They would have to be very stupid not to otherwise.
Expected launch of 6th gen city is July/August
Internationally the 10th generation got 2.0 liter engine while in Pakistan it got the old 1.8 liter
Only LHD have an option of 2L , US, Canada, some ME countries.
ASEAN and other Asian RHD have 1.8L and 1.5T as far as the Civic X. By the way 1.6L is also available in Civic X and again in limited markets like Oman.
