I strongly believe that the first 3 factors weigh much in delivery of car. Along with the monthly quota balance of the dealer at the time of your booking.

Consider my experience as below:
Pay order given to dealership 6 Aug
PBO recieved from dealer 11 Aug 2021 with tentative delivery 11 Oct.
Car arrived at dealership 2 sep 2021, yes with in 22 days after PBO
Taken delivery 3 Sep 2021. 26 days after po submission

My order was:
1. Model : Cultus 2021
2. Varient : AGS
3. Color : Sand Bidge
4 : Dealer Carachi Motors Shahrah Faisal, Karachi.

Few days ago contact with sales person he said delay in global supply chain of import shortage of AGS parts facing some delay in delivery time but today i call many time but not responding today

All the altos booked in august have tentative delivery dates for oct and these will be delivered within the stipulated days.
for cars booked in sept 21, are getting delivery dates for jan 2022.
Our company had booked 10 altos vxl ags of which 4 were done in aug and 6 in sept.

all the aug booking are now in process for receiving at showroom as confirmed from PS head office and remaining 6 have tentative dates of PBO for jan 2022.

The sales of alto have sky rocketed as they have increased sales from 3500 to 5000 units per month.
the chips have added delays in the car deliveries
Prices are expected to changes as suzuki have find a valid excuse now for price increase i.e. USD, shortage of chips, market demand as ppl are willing to pay own for buying cars.

the prices and demand will go further up as imported cars are getting expensive day by day, their parts as well.

major chunk of locally produced cars is taken up by corporate sector.

Thank you for sharing this informative post. May I know the tentative delivery dates of your Alto AGSs booked in August, 2021? Did you get delivery of those vehicles?

I also got my Alto VXL AGS booked in August, 2021 with tentative delivery date: 24th October, 2021. Have contacted Suzuki head office and dealership both multiple times, but to no avail so far!!!

pls get PBO form which contains the exact details including the delivery date.
share it with PS customer care helpline. they will provide the status.
if u are located outside karachi then it will take 03 days min from PS factory to your dealer and then the days the dealer takes for registration.

did you also book the ags variant or a manual one. I am not sure if the delay is only with ags or with all variants.

vxl AGS.

colors like sand beige, blue, black and red take more time as these colors are produced in batches when suzuki gets time after producing white silver and grey.

uptil sep only ags variants were getting stuck, but now all variants are getting stuck.

the main delay from PS is for Price increase as according to auto policy 2020-21 they cannot increase prices till dec i guess but now as per the scenario they will.

another thing is the dealers and investors are getting cars thru channels unknown and selling them on OWN money.

Have contacted and shared the signed / stamped PBO with Suzuki customer care center nine times, but instead of sharing the updated status of delivery, each time they give these automated replies:

1. We have received your email and forwarded it to concerned area

2. But the Tentative delivery date of vehicle is last week of October, 2021

Can a customer sense any information about actual delivery status by reading these copy paste messages??

They can't increase the prices until and unless they share their costing structure with Government of Pakistan, which I believe they would never do, so blackmailing the customers as a consequence:

Tentative delivery date of vehicle is last week of October, 2021

sir you can start the delivery schedule inquiry 3 days prior to delivery date. dealerships have no control over the factory for delivery schedule.

I understand bro, that is why I had been writing the Suzuki head office, not dealership, but the response of Suzuki customer care center had remained pathetic so far!!

No that's not a typo. They indeed delivered me in a month's time only.
