ABS chip shortage is the reason Alto and Cultus (VXL Versions) are suspended and existing deliveries delayed.
You cannot do anything for late delivery, you cannot put restrictions on business. Government has put no restriction that forces the auto manufacturer to give you the car in 2 months. They have only imposed penalty on delivery if it is later than 2 months (Starting from the date of full payment)
Businesses always focus on profit. They will not expand their production capacity to that much that they can deliver in a month, because when the demand is less in some months their work is stopped and their investment does not give that much return then.
We will have to deal this long delivery period for ages to come.
