Salam, I am thinking to buy Swift GLX, does the CVT and breaking issue is that much serious, are these two things deal breakers?

Do check Kia Stonic in the same price bracket. Its more equipped, more comfortable and much better built.

Swift GLX is a top car a hot seller and has awesome fuel average.

That is if you are fine with a hatchback size car.

Avoid Stonic. Not much market n resale. Not close to swifts fuel economy z

personally drive this car..i almost made the deal with Margalla motors khi..

well still
brake noise issue which is v.loud is there. Almost every car suffering from this issue.. the solution they are providing change the brake pad which cost 45k ..

and in this price i guess after reviewing the yaris new one..

the city is best.. more space and over all good. swift back seat space little congested.. not like picanto still not great

More space needed but less fuel economy, City/Yaris are better.

But swift CVT can’t be beaten when it comes to excellent fuel economy and a hatchback requirement small car easy to maneuver around with not much fuel bills, also modern.

well ok when i was driving .. Shahrae faisal mix traffic if u live in khi then u must know in evening the traffic flow on Shahrae faisal ..

it was giving 14 ..my current ride alto .. gives around 17 or 16

Your concern on CVT is valid. I was very vocal about it when it was launched in Pakistan. CVT replacements during warranty period is not a good sign. Personally if I buy Swift, I would go for the MT version.

We have not heard many cases of cvt replacement in warranty or did I miss something? I was also very skeptical about jatco but 3 years down the line I think it is doing fine in Pakistani market as it is the same market that rejected liana because of ignition coils issue alone despite of its features around its time and affordability.

last time 3 month ago i went for oil change etc there were couple of 2022 swift was there all have CVT problems and inspection guy told me its unrepair able we will change the whole assembly in Warranty..
