I think initially Suzuki will increase somewhere around 150,000 PKR – 250,000 PKR. Anything more than that will be simply beyond the buying power of many people, especially for a hatchback.
I think Suzuki will not increase the price unless Toyota or Honda increases the price of Yaris or City, or people will automatically opt for Yaris or City.
Fuel average figures will play an important role in future sales and capturing market share.
Sooner or later, petrol prices will reach 200+ PKR/L (due to sanctions on Russia). Under such circumstances, it will be very difficult for the newly launched Swift to sustain itself in the market.
