Dude just tell them to return your booking draft and explain in writing if this is company policy and that you are giving them a notice to explain why you have to buy Extended Warranty with car for purpose of taking the matter to consumer court as well as Competition Commission of Pakistan.

I didn't give anyhting to them just was shopping around. This was the DHA dealership so as expected more chance of looters.

I asked two other dealerships, they both had a said slightly different stance: need Car price + filer/nonfiler tax + registration cost + insurance up front.

Pay Order of Car price + tax 2,924,000 in favour of Pak Suzuki Motor company, and cheque of registration and 1 year insurance in favor of dealership approx. 120000.
They said this was to discourage investors policy from Pak Suzuki, since investor would be paying for insurance of 1 year for other party.

Oh and other dealership quoted me Rs.18000 for extended warranty which the DHA one quoted for 26000.
The others said they had no details on accessories prices at this time.

As I said I was going to get insurance and extended warranty anyway, but they way the DHA dealership pushed it was sad. Customer service is such a foreign concept to Car industry.

Suzuki should have used better sparking plugs in the new Swift.
Changing plugs every 10,000 Kms is not convenient, it also results in high maintenance costs.

On first plug replacement, you can install better plugins that last minimum of 25k km up to 40k km. Iradium spark plugs cost 3 times than standard spark plugs.

I am pretty sure that suzuki will keep updating this maintenance schedule for the newly launched swift as more and more cars get serviced from dealership and they have meaningful data to analyze.

Both new Custus and Wagaon R were initially recommended for oil changes of 3 months/5000 km which ever comes first and now these are updated to 6 months/10,000 km.

Yeah looks like SWIFT is going to see a price bump even before the first delivery. At this price it is going to be a ridiculous option considering other available options.

I booked it today got the receiving in shape of "PBO form"

I can't register because it wont allow blank in tentative delivery date since they haven't given a date untill it clears from pak suzuki.

Yes it looks fake as the company website does not reflect this new price.

But one way or the other, price increase is inevitable considering current state of our currency against USD.
