my friend took delivery 3 days ago in exchange program and mine expected to come in next 2 days, he's reporting a weird cabin noise same as cultus or even worst, WTF is wrong with this brand why dont they improve their standards?

Feel sorry for your bad experience.. when swift was launch I conceived my father to buy this rather than a city or Yaris. personally I don’t like Yaris. Because it’s not so attractive and Honda city also have issues but not that type..so now I’m looking for yaris of any JDM

I was very close to changing my Vitz 2018 for the GLX CVT, but thankfully better sense prevailed and I stopped myself. It seems to be a good decision for now, since there are a lot of teething problems with it. Hopefully they will be sorted out over the next few batches of production and we will have a better car as an option in the market.
I have used 3 JDMs (over the past many years, and the overall experience regarding quality and reliability has been very good. Maybe due to the fact that I got al three from reliable sources, who weren't expected to cheat me. Also used many PKDM's and Suzuki's were the worst. Toyota, Honda and Kia were much better, some close to JDM level quality and reliability.

Bhai it’s Pakistan suzuki and quality is opposite to each other..lakin phir b record sale ho rhi hy. No doubt JDMs superior quality hai..but used b to hoti han. For that reason people consider PKDMs over JDMs.

It turned out that I have two faulty spark plugs and the remaining two have the wrong gap. The mechanic tested the spark plugs with a multi-meter.

Currently, the stock spark plug is NGK LKR6F-10 which costs somewhere around 1700 PKR.

I will buy the replacement spark plugs tomorrow and I am sure the issue will be resolved.

ask them if they have iridium plugs at the dealership otherwise internationally, k12m comes with iridium plugs stock. If you get them then you wont have to worry about plugs for long

when you get the new sparkplugs, I would advice you not to gap them, they are made specificaly for this engine and work good without gapping. gapping a laser welded sparkplug can make it un predictable. Maybe the geniuses of paksuzuki are trying to gap these plugs and are causing this issue. there was a whole debate on gapping this plug in the swift forum UK a while ago. I will try to find that link if it is still there and post it here.

lol, we can debate. but the link I am refering to had that established. I cant seem to find that forum now, but I also skimmed an article from india last night that was in respect to the k14B engine. see if you guys find it interesting.
Normaly the model specific laser iridium plugs last a long time and need no messing with their gaps or cleaning. I myself had a maxima with the company fitted ngk laser iridiums and i ddnt replace them until I sold the car at 160k kms.

Sir please check if coolant is there. Pak suzuki delivered me alto vxr back in 2004 without coolant and had to pour water in it while taking it home fro. Showroom when it ovwrheated and white smoke appeared from hood. It was zero meter car. Fortunately the gaskit was not damaged. They just shrugged and said we forgot. It was suzuki ali motors lahore.

Fragile engine or they have used cheapest plugs. Iriidum plugs are very long life. Even you forget wheb it was changed last time.
