This was the first year I watched/followed the race for the entire 24 hours. All the guys who were expected to finish well didn't do so well, and those who weren't given much attention ended up finishing well.
That Robertson Racing Ford GT finished 2nd in class... that was amazing since it was running REEEEEAALLY slow times the entire race.
The Flying Lizard's engine gave them problems (lost one cylinder). I was hoping they'd at least get the podium in GTE Am, but when the #80 died... it was impossible. I'm surprised their GTE Pro drivers didn't qualify well, or do too well the entire race. They're good drivers, too... Luhr's been driving for a while, and Long's been a porsche werks driver for almost 10 years I think.
The worst of all was the Corvette Racing crash. REALLY was not anticipating them to lose their #1 spot that way. Still finished second so it wasn't all bad.
Great race! If you love cars, YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS RACE.
