Has to be tested first, a compression test can show if piston rings are bad. Dont rely on

pehlay ye karte hai, phir ye karenge, naa hoowa to wo karenge.

this is financial disaster waiting to happen.

Where can be compression test done in pakistan? I live in peshawar and i don't think here anyone has any idea about what is compression test in the first place

Being a lay man i can only say that average is 15-16km/l in city and 20 and even 21 on long..which shows that pump is well adjusted? ..

being layman and trying to deduce engine health by mileage is equal to someone saying that a person with bullet wound can be healed with saniplast.

diesel engines give good mileage regardless and even if they are burning engine oil past rings, they wont drop mileage at all as the oil is used as fuel too.

question,

does your engine start without glow plug (heater) when its warmed up?
example below

you drive from home to somewhere for 30 minutes, you reach there and park it - and come back 10 minutes later to start it, Does the engine start without glow plug assistance? or do you need to wait for glow time? A healthy engine should start without glow/heater when warmed up.

Hahahaha very nice explaination you are right i am surely a layman..

No sir...i only give it 2 heaters in the morning and it starts in less than half sulf in morning..
And after that it doesnot need any heater..if i drive for 30 min and park for more than 20 min still it doesnot need any heater ..it starts very well...

quick starting engine is a sign of a good diesel engine.

Find a better mechanic, even if you have to go to another city.

Update regarding engine compression...
I went to @dani_kk (Dmotorssports) islamabad for compression test...a guy named Danial was a nice guy i think he was the owner..he checked for blowby and told me there is no blow in engine sound is good cold and hot starting perfect so you don't need to do compression test its all ok..
Jist change the seals for oil leakage..
So kindly tell me which seals i should change i want to change all seals disassembling engine....
Apart from Main oil seal and timming seals are there any other seal to be changed???

PS..he also advised me to buy liquimoly diesel purge and guided me complete method of injecting diesel purge bypassing the pump...

@dani_kk is a well versed person in repairs.

There are 3 main seals on this engine, the rear main, the crank nose seal and cam nose seal. (these 2 are supposed to be replaced everytime the timing belt is changed at 100,000 kms)

Diesel purge is a good idea too, it is used in fuel intake directly - meaning the injector pump suction side is disconnected from tank and a small container of purge is used in its place.

however if your pump has been "ustaadified" and "tasalee buksh'd" from idiot pump walay diesel specialist. It wont help.

@dani_kk told me that pump is ok..don't play with it and rest everything is ok..just change seals..which you have replied about that there are three

This is not how you "see" or "adjust" timing on this engine, you need this.

And you need to make definite sure 200% that your injectors are good, if they dont pop within 10% of recommended pressure within each other, the engine will not run good. This timing also affects blowby.

You also need to make sure your pump is 100% setup perfect top notch, not done by moron with tools on dirt floor shop.

Well i see..i don't think anyone will be having this device with them..diesel labs are also as you told in previous replies (hathora technique)...
I am not having any problem with pump or mileage or starting...
I just shared this picture for your perusal...i didnot do anythinh with this pump yet....

Yes as i suggested engine & fuel pump are in good nick don't play with much. Just get the seals replaced & use diesel purge. Don't play with anything else.

Problem solved...changed O ring in oil pump and no leakage at all now from engine...now its not reducing oil it was due to leakage...

You have identified these three seals to be replaced with timing belt.

Please confirm if this maintenance regime is for every diesel or specific for 2C only?

Two of the three seals are changed with t belt, the camshaft seal and the front crankshaft seal.

I do this for every timing belt engine.

Changing the rear main requires transmission removal, leave it for later.
