i had big...and i mean BIG plans with this motor. but i just couldnt work it out. i didnt want to let go of my d16turbo because i wanted to prove something with it (which ive finally done so). so i couldnt start the 2jz project. but still..i tired...we looked around for the car we had in mind (240z)...but unfortunately didnt find one.
my plan was basically to get a light, balanced car like a 240z and swap this in there...due to the traction issues people have been having with the supras here...i opted to go for auto...this might sound bad to the most of you...but the true people will know what im talking about.. that auto is the way to go with high hp (faster shifts, no boost drop through gears, better launch)
the manual supras cant get even a bit of traction here on the paki roads...think what the same power wouldve done in a way lighter car.
now we all know 2jz's are also known as bullet proof motors...so we were gonna run lots of boost with a big turbo, a nice ems, and some nitrous or antilag for launch...along with a torque convertor...which wouldve lauched better then a manual most likely.

those were just some of my plans.
and if uve got bigger goals then that then all ull have to do is change the gear and get a th400. some people have them for sale here as well.
but still even on stock setup...it can be pushed to around 400whp easily...and that my friend is alot of fun in a light car.
now the thing is..im going back to canada for uni..so i dont think ill have time for this project later on. thats why im gonna let it go.
