I am in Karachi, the engine and the gear are both in good running conditions.

I am putting a 3L engine on my Surf, so yes it came off the Surf. The gear box is automatic, its 4x4 and is also from the Surf.

In Shersha 3L engine is 125K!!!
And Hilux 4x4 Manual Gear Box is for 25K
5L is 5-10k more than 3L.
No idea about 3L-T

The power and torque increase will not be more than 20% as compared to your existing setup so why have you decided to replace the 2L-T ?
If you install a 1kZ-T you will have to have new engine mounts on your Surf Chasis but increase in power and torque will be 50% plus and the cost will be the same ie. 130K for engine and manual gearbox.

Even with normal fuel pump a 1Kz-T is more torquy than a 5L !

I will be using the Surf for rally purposes.
If i go with 1KZ, then that bumps me up from category c to category b and there are far too many souped up vehicles in that category and even with 1kz I dont stand a chance to compete hard.

However with a 2.8 liter 3L, fitted with a turbo from 2L (the one that i am selling) I can compete hard with other vehicles in category C. That is why I am going with a 3L.

Thanks for the price idea. I was told that the price is closer to 1.65 lakhs.. I guess the only way to find out is to go to shershah.

Any idea how much are 2l selling in Shershah?

Dear Sajid Bhai,

I recently dumped my 2L-T because of busted head! and got a 1KZ-T from Shershah with normal pump.
If I had known your engine would have saved me a lot of money.
Anyways I have the old engine with my mechanic and would like to check out your engine. My no. is 0301-2281413.

Another option that I want to suggest to you is get a 3L engine block for 40k and put the head and turbo of your exisitng engine. This is possible as latter versions of 2L-T have the same head a 3L that is why they are so darn expensive:(

One more option is to get a used 3L from Quetta for 60K and rebuild it to your budget.
