2ZZ GE Indus Corolla Inquiry

AOA guys, im thinking to upgrade to an indus corolla swapped with a 2zz ge from a 1nz swapped ee80. There are some cars for sale here in Peshawar as there are lots of indus's swapped with this engine over here. Im kinda used to project car visits to mechanics every now and then so i know what im getting myself into.

Need a more powerful car now as i cant hold back any more as ive wanted this project for a long time now. Im gonna take my mechanic and electrician with myself who also did the work on the ee80 as it turned out great MashAllah.

What is RON petrol rating for a 2zz ge 1800cc and what RON rating petrol is total, pso and shell providing nowadays in its normal super unleaded fuel and what is the HOBC RON rating as well by these 3 pumps? Will this engine require some sort of special maintenance as its a proper perfomance engine? This doesnt seem to be Okay to ask but i might aswell, what sort of fuel economy can i expect from this engine with manual tranny (probably c60) if i dont engage lift mode frequently as lift consumes alot of fuel.

Would appreciate alot from fellow pakwheelers if someone could address my queries.

For 2zzge 95 or higher octane is required.
People usually get 12km/l. And some people also change final drive to increase efficiency .
Find 190hp variants of 2zzge. They have bigger throttle body and intake manifold as compare to 160hp variants. Also Lsd one. They are pretty expensive now a days.
If you are going rev it high frequently then better to upgrade oil pump. Oem oil pump is not happy with it.
One thing you didn't asked is axles. You need 2C axles to mate up with it.

Thanks alot for the info man! Is the 7afe powerful enough with auto tranny if the car is sorted out properly? Ofcourse not as much as a 2zz. I think 7a will provide same fuel economy if im not wrong with auto?

Regarding 2zz, will try to look for a car thats already swapped. 2zz from a celica gts or corolla t sport would be best as its 190 hp while the later ones in corolla xrs and matrix made 160-170 hp.

7afe with c160 can stay head to head with 4age BT.
Yes it will provide almost same mileage.
I have seen a 2zzge complete with axles in bilal gunj. He was asking 2lac for that thing. Very expensive. It was used to be for 130k. And now only due to demand price raised to such instant.

I plan on swapping my e140's engine with either a 2zz or k20. Which would be the better pick in terms of bolt on swap and better fuel average as I plan on using it daily

2zzge without a doubt.
Swapping a honda in corolla is not a easy task.

It will be my first engine swap, any help or advice you give would be of great importance. I have a 2010 Corolla xli, and plan on installing 2zz and turbo charging it later on. I also plan on upgrading the braking system and suspension. Also adding struts

It's relatively easy to swap 2zzge in these cars as they already came with similar design engines. For brakes you need aftermarket ones. You can easily find strut bars.
