3,500 Bike Tour in April : Karachi - Islamabad - Kaghan / Saiful Maluk

I am planning on a Bike Trip from Karachi to Islamabad and onward to Kaghan and Saiful Maluk in the Month of April.

I am looking for likewise fellow riders who wish to join me in any part of this tour in April (we can work out the exact travel dates later).

I wish to begin my trip in the First Week of April. I will be driving this route while stopping one night in each of these city except Islamabad where I plan on staying for a few days;

Fri April 05 : Karachi - Hyderabad (170 Kms)
Sat April 06 : Hyderabad - Rahim Yar Khan (500 Kms)
Sun April 07: Rahim Yar Khan - Multan (320 Kms)
Mon April 08 : Multan - Islamabad (500 Kms)

Sat April 13 : Islamabad - Murree / Nathia Galli / Abbotabad (125 Kms)
Sun April 14 : Abbotabad - Shogran (90Kms)
Mon April 15 : Shogran - Kaghan/Naran / Saiful Maluk (70 Kms)

And the same trip back to Karachi with some stop over at Islamabad for a few days before heading back to Karachi.

I will be driving with my wife on a Suzuki 150. This is my very first long road trip so would like some company and advice and support during the trip.

in april u cant reach naran and siaful malook coz of snow and glaciers. u lll have to trek for that not on bikes

I thought the snow would have melted by then. Then when is it a good time to go to Naran and Saiful Maluk so that its not packed with tourists as well as the snow has melted, at least on the roads so we can get around. So are you saying that the road up to Saiful Maluk is filled with snow or the entire valley of Naran is filled with snow?

Last year, we maintained a log of updates as they happened in Kaghan Valley and the title post will give you good idea when roads get open.

roads will open for trafic after mid may ... lots of glaciers.....

whenever roads open u ll c many ppl there. just try to go in early or late season as possible

Thanks for all your advice, I think I am now postponing the trip to Mid or late May to early June which I think may be more suitable for the weather up North. However, now I am concerned of the level of heat I may have to go through while driving through Sindh and Punjab. Has anyone traveled 500 kms through Sindh comfortably in one day on a Bike? I mean if I drive from Hyderabad to Rahim Yar Khan is it possible to make it safely within the same day?
