nice thread, In the end it all boils down to what the OWNER of car did, 95% of Mazda RX owners in Pakistan are rice cooking EE DYOTS (this species is more known as h0m0-idioticus)
They have this pomp around them that they have BIG MONEY,, and they can do whatever, any car should follow what they want, (hmm - when I checked you werent sitting at the RR works in Crewe ordering a custom piece)
They have their lovely drivers cleaning their cars with damp gritty nylon rags - scratching the paint, and then sahab comes to start the car - redline it dead cold, then proceed to pick up his girlfreind in his "HOT sports car" later to head to the motel/guesthouse to have some lovemaking time with her". When oil change time comes for the car, fill with the most expensive oil on the rack (synthetic usually) or a cheap knockoff blue bottle which has made for RX8 written on it. Forget to premix a little when filling up fuel etc etc.
In the above story - the owner scratched up his paint gunned a dead cold wankel engine, put synthetic in it, and forgot to add some premix because his JDM orphan car did not have a reflash of the ECU enabling more oil injection.
When the car gives up they tow it to a workshop and then cheap out on everything, the engine repair bill usually gives them diarhea as they usually will have to ask dad for it, and the dad's freind's son also had an RX8 engine rebuilt for a handsome amount only for the son to go trash it in the next 10,000 kms, now daddy dearest says no - and the car becomes a cadaver. The rest is history
