Can someone help me ... I have been complaining to Zong about my signal issues since 8 months now ... it has been not resolved yet ... shall I just move to Warid or just keep trying .. pathetic customer services really

They wont improve coverage for u, get an antenna n see if it works or else just shift to warid

Zong 4g device does not have H or H+ fallback capability. Once out of city, 4g is gone and it fallsback to 3g although coverage of H+ is present. This is a huge drawback bcoz there is Hell of a difference between speed of H+ and 3g. When 3g gives 3 mbps, at the same time my cell is on H+ and it gives me 10 mbps.

So that explains y i get 1mbps when out of 4g coverage

so here is the update regarding my zong mbb in 4g coverage area

The device will remain in 3g mode with complete signals
I forced it to go for 4g by manual network selection mode. It entered 4g mode with 3 signals and speed was even bad than 3g.
The point is I am not at the edges of coverage area, right in the centre of it.
When I place the device outside or at higher place it automatically switch to 4g but same 3 signals.

What to do?

Yes and thats why for 2 weeks I kept searching for super 3g device rather than 4G but dint find it. Super 3g device has H+, H, 3g fallback and H+ has superb coverage and more than satisfactory speed.

If your 3g phone has HSPA+ capability, then definately you will have H+. The coverage is good and signal strong. I can stream in full HD inside my house with H+ where the 4G device struggles to open even the simple websites. However, 4G on rooftop is uncomparable. 50 Mbps.

thats quite some speed, people get that wid 4g
so i guess no need for 4g then

No Bro you got me wrong. That speed in the picture is with 4g connection when the device is at 1st floor near window. At ground floor inside the house 4G signal is not present and it falls back to 3g resulting in poor speeds.

with H+ I get 10 MBits ps max but with H+ that speed is not location dependant. Even in ground floor inside house H+ signal is good. Hope I made it clear.

I must say I am very disappointed so far with Zong. I had heard that in my area Clifton karachi Block 7 there was 26 mpbs speed but not at all. When I get three signal bars it gives me 2 mpbs. However, when I get 5 signal bars in another area of my house it still only gives me 6 to 7 mpbs......
I mean what the .....
What happened .....Clifton in karachi is not exactly an area not covered by 4g unless there are many customers here who have been buying zong devices which I know is also happening.
Do let me know if there are any other users from my area and what speed they are getting?

Also do let me know what else I can do ?
