Daraz.pk was quick to deliver a Zong 4G wifi device. I had opted for a 3-months bundle special offer (4000 rs for 48 GB/month for three months). I was sent an invoice stating all these details, but to my surprise when one day I called Zong helpline after I received an SMS that I had used 20 percent of my monthly data limit, they informed me that the package on the device was 100 GB for one month for 3,800 rupees. I called Daraz.pk and they are not admitting their mistake and when I sent them scan of invoice they said they could not change the package or refund the money, but offered me a voucher of just 1,000 rupees to purchase again from them some items.
Today again when I changed my bundle and tried to recharge my device via online banking. SCB said I could not recharge more than 2,000 rupees. I did one recharge of 2,000 and again did another recharge of 2,000 but SCB system said it was not allowed.
So I tried MCB Internet banking and tried to send 2,000 rupees recharge, but MCB said max recharge could be done was for 1,000 rupees. I did two recharges of 1,000 rupees. I got three emails about rejection of all three transactions, but Rs 2,000 were debited from my account.
From 11.00 am to till 3.00 pm MCB is not able to resolve the issue and told be that my complaint has been noted and it will be resolved in three working days.
I told them it is not acceptable to me and they should hurry up or I will complaint to State Bank and Banking Ombudsman. In this computer age they need three days. All banks are idiots and they have idiotic systems.
If I had walked on foot to Zong office and paid in cash, it would have taken less time than this bull crap.
