Where is the responsibility in people? Who would avoid downloading pirated stuff during peak hours? So there is no option but to cap it and make service available for everyone. Get DSL if you can not stop. Wireless has got limited bandwidth.

Wireless has got limited bandwidth with super quality.Here they have compromised on quality and went for quantity.That is the main reason for lame services.No one in the world throttle your internet speeds.Its a wrong practice.

Exactly. We pay for the GBs and I think its on us what we do with it. Pirated stuff or not, it is not their job to cap it. If anyone can ban torrents, then it would be someone else than the internet provider unless otherwise the internet provider mentions it because then no one would use hteir service then. Im working on a way to get around the cap, lets see if i can get a way over it

Lol. Then you do not know who does not throttle.
I must say network equipment are not cheap in this country because of heck a lot of taxes imposed by parasitic governments. So these companies go for throttling instead of increasing capacity of BTS. If they go for upgrade option then then they will have to increase prices and again people will cry for that.

Anyone using Warid. I recharged the MiFi after few months. They take extra money on top of the package price. For example I had to load 1750 Rs to get a Rs. 1500 package.

Yes zong. Ufone and telenor. But the terms are not catchy

Guys ZONG H+ gives me around 8mb download speed on speedtest app but while downloading torrent it doesnt cross 150 kB/s. What does this mean?

zong has capped the torrent to 120kpbs max..i get 15mb speed but torrent are capped/// use VPN and it will go to 1mbps

It stays at 2G most of the times, even in 3G coverage areas. Phone settings are all okay.

Both my cousins use Ufone, and most of my friends.
It barely sticks to H+ and switches back to E all the time.

I have tried all the networks and for me Mobilink 3G is awesome ... solid coverage and solid 3G .. I am talking abt twin cities though
