Have you tried PTCL? Do they provide fibre optic on your line/in your area?

No bro PTCL is on DSL.
My relative are using PTCL DSL in defence, its good but it has many connection issues..

I am using PTCL 8Mbps connection on fiber optics and I dont have any issues at all...

If your area is optic fibre, then PTCL BB works perfect.

If not, sometimes number change is required and then you get optic fibre supported new number, and then PTCL BB works perfect.

The ones who cry about PTCL BB are copper line ones.

Ask PTCL if you can get optic fibre supported line.

If not, then PTCL BB 1-4mbps can work fine depending on your line quality.

My village is on copper lines, but still line quality is ok, so it supports upto 4 mbps perfectly. And on higher speed connections, it has connectivity issues.

Your DSL person will analyze your line perimeters and will let you know in advance that how much mbps connection it can support.

For those relatives having connectivity issues, tell them to downgrade their BB speed 1 step lower (like from 8 to 4, 4 to 2) and their problem will fix.

but issue is if i compare it with zong its much faster then ptcl in terms of downloads. but has limited packages.
if i go for ptcl it would be 8mbps & its over 3000/month thats bit costly for me

ptcl 4mbps gives 500-550kbps download (checked)
it means 8mbps will give 1000-1100kbps.
zong is giving over above 2000kbps..

I used a optic fiber ptcl bb connection of 8 mbps connection which gave 500kbps speed and 20mb connection which give 1.6mb speed in downloading but not constant too many disconnect issues in clifton for so many years but have also have remove it and now using strom fiber and word call
By the way world is only normal now due to its official issues

Then they need to downgrade to 2mbps to solve connectivity issues, or shift to a better connection like 3G/4G.

Yeah, that's true because i use 8 mbps PTCL BB connection and speeds are as you described, but upload speed in PTCL is far less than upload speed in 3G/4G.

The benefit of PTCL is 300GB bandwidth with normal speeds, and the benefit of 3G/4G is much faster speeds with less bandwidth. Now it's upto user which one is more suitable for him.

Hey Guys salam to all..
Guys I live in North Nazmabad Karachi & wants a better & cheaper internet connection for my home usage, which will be including 1.PC, 1.laptop, 1.TV (for watching videos on it), 4-5.cell phones & downloading games on my Playstation. (online gaming not mandatory)
I am currently using Witribe 2mbps unimited package. Its signals are good over here, but have lower download speed, its only 225kbps. browsing is good but cant stream 720p video smoothly oftenly. & it coasts around 1700/month.
i am not satisfied with these speeds at all as my requirements are concerned & package is also costly.
I am thinking to switch on Zong 4G or any other better & cheaper option available in my area.
So please kindly Help me in this regard. Thanks in advance..

If u can afford 3800/ per month then go for zong 4g mifi as it will cater your streaming needs in 720p easily and speeds r mostly good depanding on the area.
Only the problem is 100GB limited volume as it takes time getting used to limited volume after using unlimited internet.
Before buying just check the speeds from zong 4g sim to get an idea.

Complained once more lets see now with what excuse they come with.

By the way speeds on these networks varies from area to area zong has gone as high as 35mbps in my area and now 5mbps at max.
So its good that mobi is giving u such speeds.

Yes thses are recent tests .. Mostly I get 21mbps on mobilink on average here in isb/rwp

n it went up instead of going down, my house wasnt in coverage before, now either it is or this wingle device catches mores signal
telenor is the only network that gives best 3g speed here, before it even launched 4g

Their 3G speed is always slow.. which area in RWP they have 4G Coverage
