Telenor 3G wingle is pathetic.Used both at I-8 and F-7, it is so slow. Now I miss the PTCL Evo and Zong 4G. I will be getting a 4G Telenor sim for this wingle as those were not available when our office purchased these for us.

UFone, as they have upgraded to fastest spectrum now in Pakistan regarding 3G, beating Zong by a approx 100Mhz. Not much but still facts and figures. Zong remains at top on the basis of balanced 3G and 4G services. Some say it's best of the both worlds.

Using Telenor 3G Wingle in I-8, Islamabad. Too slow, even Facebook notification would not load sometime, but Iflix movies running great on it.

Are Telenor Data SIMs available? I have this 3G connect device lying around and want to avail 4G hotspot packages on it. Telenor has discontinued 3G connect service.

It worked very well near Bahria Phase II, but it is too damn expensive. Bill is not less than 6-7 K despite I got 2200 rs 55GB per month package (it is postpaid). Have asked my office to return it and give me back the PTCL Evo where bill never exceeded 2200 rs.

For home I want to buy Zong 4G device again. Will buy it tomorrow. I sold my previous device last year to a friend at that time they had free device offer if you bought data for six months, don't know it still exists.

Anyone in Islamabad trying to get rid of his Zong, please let me know.

Been a while since i visited this thread.....infact its been a while since i visited this forum for that matter but anyways i want to bring everyone's attention to something......now this is something which most of you might be already aware of but still.....

Zong charges GST separately as compared to other service providers whose packages are inclusive of taxes.....now i had been using the mobile internet bundle known as "Super weekly" which is basically Rs100 2GB for 7 days........used to do a recharge of Rs132 and Rs100 used to come and than i activated the bundle.......now recently with the imposition of 19.5% GST on internet in punjab i have come to know that zong was charging GST to other provinces from last year.

Now in order to avail the "super weekly" package i need to do a recharge of Rs160 after which Rs120 come and i can activate the package as now the package is for 119.5 (19.5%GST). Meanwhile all the rest of the operators have their GST within their package amount which may Rs100,75 or whatever respectively.

So where Zong no doubt is providing excellent data service in terms of speed and quality its considerably more expensive as well.
