Hello everyone. .. Here is as scenario.
I work remotely and need a good reliable connection. I was using a local cable net before which was ok but not very fast. Got myself a new PTCL Broadband 8MB connection for which a new phone line was installed. 1st month was ok but every month since it has been a nightmare. Frequent disconnections and reduced speeds mean I call them 2-3 times a week.
I have had enough. I am switching to 4G which is ok as I use a laptop so can connect using WiFI however I have a Ethernet based phone that I need to connect as well. I need help in deciding the best way forward:
A. My PTCL broadband router has a USB port which they say can be used to plug in a 4G CharJi USB as fall back. I can trade in my Evo Cloud and get PTCL's CharJi Wingle for PRK 1000 and get some package so it runs as backup. Or if anyone knows if PTCL Router will accept a Zong Wingle?
B. I dump PTCL, get myself a 4G Zong MiFi device and figure out a way of connecting my Ethernet based phone to it. I am guessing a range extender like http://www.czone.com.pk/network-products-range-extender-d-link-dap-1330-n300-wi-fi-range-extender-pakistan-p.4822.aspx can be used to get a Ethernet port.
C. I get a TP Link Archer 4G Router () and use a data sim from Zong in it. Question is, does Zong allow its data sim to run in unbranded routers??
A few options are available:

Any ideas? I am based in North Nazimabad Karachi.
My outlay budget is about 8-10K and monthly I can spend around 5K. There is no fibre in my area so I have no option but to go wireless if I are to ditch PTCL
