Hey guys, I need a sim purely for Internet use. Which one should I get?A few questions:-How are Mobilink giving 30GB for just 600?-Zong's Monthly Premium Plus is 30GB for 3500. Is it 3G and 4G hybrid?

Today when i connected my iPhone to iTunes it said that update to carrier settings available would u like to install it now.. After installation the LTE sign (warid) converted to 4G.. anyone else experienced same??

I did get a carrier setting update on iPhone when connected to iTunes but don't know what changed..
Okay, a new post on ProPakistani cleared my Zong question. Can someone help me with Mobilink speeds and connectivity?

It is a good idea to update the operating frequencies of 3G and 4G in main post.
For all networks. 4G/LTE - 1800 Mhz.3G - 2100 Mhz.

On April 23, 2014 Pakistan concluded next generation mobile spectrum auction. Zong paid $516 million for*10 MHz*spectrum in*2.1 GHz*frequency for 3G and*10 MHzspectrum in*1.8 GHz*frequency for 4G making it Pakistan's first 3G and 4G operator.
So both warid and zong seem to be same. I guess

After updating iphone 5 carrier now no LTE option is coming only 4g.. That's what is updated.

Telenor's new package seemed pretty nice, 5 GB for 8 Rs from 5am - 5pm everyday for download purposes. But once you subscribe to it, they throttle the speed to 1mbps only. Right now I am getting 14mbps download and 6-8 mbps upload. Why does everyone have to lie in Pakistan.

Our country would rather spend millions in re-verification of sims (which will have no benefits) rather than improve cellular services. That's the beauty of it.

Also, I asked Mobilink about their Monthly Super package with 30GB cap and they said it will end 31st Jan. This still leaves me undecided on which sim to buy.
Today I accepted the message, popped up onto my iPhone 5 screen. It was regarding the update of carrier settings. After few seconds mine started showing 4g sign instead of LTE.
