That combination is from a JDM Toyota Altezza (GEM are Lexus branded) 16 year old power train., unknown history high risk for blind buying.

check if the ecu & wiring are intact, not cut tapped repaired, also if the seller is willing to offer compression test and warranty of zero noise in transmission before you give him an offer.

225 - 235 shall be top dollar for noiseless transmission and intact ecu wiring & engine compression above 160 psi

the problem with all Altezza engines in Pakistan is that they have been beat to death and then some more, because of one or a combination of the following.

1 - aasum pick
2 - rwd hai iss pe drift maarenge
3 - egzaast lagake limiter maarenge - dhamakay wala.

there are more but it would become R rated then.

no auction scrapyard in other countries is interested in these anymore as they are obsolete and dead weight - specially when shipping stopped during covid19, any engines lying at those auction yards in dubai, sharjah, malaysia etc, became rusted solid and almost all were sold as scrap by weight to foundries.

Thats sad. Engines have become very expensive post covid. I dont think i can buy a clean k20 with6peed thats at least not worth half my car.

its also called "bro tax" - e.g. buy anything for a supra 2JZ engine and suddenly its very expensive while the same part on it is found on other toyota engines for less than half of "supra bro tax pricing"

then you have the "one up" culture in Pakistan where people pay premium to outbid other buyers to become first buyer of item regardless of actual price of item. The only person winning in such situation is the scrap dealer selling the engine.

Sir aap koi bhi kseries engine dekhain markt mein with manual gear its very expensive. Bro tax hai type-R k engine par hai. Used engines are very expensive here these days. If you know a place that has cheap engines kindly enlighten us

In pakistan bro tax exists but any clean engine thats worth swapping is already expensive. even ancient h22 b16 f series hondas are expensive. K series ka to naam sun kar hi dealer aisi raqam maangta hai k khuda ki panaah

So there is no bro tax then. If i had enough space and an extra car i could try swapping it and saving a big chunk of money as labour costs are high for good mechanics
