3zz-Fe Supercharged?

hey guys my 3zz-fe is 100k driven, but in perfect condition.
i m looking to gain some bhps approximate 250bhp+
i was thinking can a supercharger do that?
its merits n demerits?
millage effect?
maintainance?
setup cost?
parts availability?
and m also looking for some suspension upgrade.........
i have 2004 se-saloon.

2zz-GE Supercharged Is A Much Better Option

3zz-Fe Itself Can't Hold Much Boost As You Need....You Have To Rebuild The Motor...!

You won't be able to properly supercharge a 3ZZ-FE. You can turbocharge it probably (although you'll need expert opinion on that). Like SER_GTR said get a 2ZZ-GE engine instead. You can add a supercharger to it. The best bit is that it is VVTL-i and can be used as a daily driver.

You will of course need to modify the suspension quite a bit. You'll need to lower the car and add stiffer and thicker springs. Rest the gurus will tell you as I am no expert in this department.

If You Get Lucky And Have Deep Pockets...Source Out 2ZZ-GE Supercharged Version From Factory Which Is 240Hp Factory Rated But A Rare Find

If Not Supercharger Kits are available for 2zz-ge....! tey make it run around 6-7 Psi And Churns Out 240hp......

On Serious Note...Swap N/A 2zz-ge And You Will Have MORE Than Enough Power To Have Fun Around...No Need For S.C

Supercharger Kits For 1NZ-Fe Are Also Available ....Making Decent Power............you need a complete factory setup along with chipped or piggyback for ecu in order to run it fine....!!

agreed.. 2zzge is sufficient if you are stepping up from a 3zzfe.. if more, add a trd bolt on super charger.. as said above by ser it'll chern out 240 horses.. somehow.. and it'll still be a daily driver..

if you wanna go reallllll big, then as said by wasay get a 3sgte (3rd or 4th generation) along with its compatible turbo.. engine itself is less powerful than a 2zzge, but when the turbo is added, you can go quite higher.. its a low compression engine that supports upto 6-7psi.. maybe even more if internals are custom built accordingly..

but the shape of 2003-8 corolla would require quite some suspension and brake upgrade, since the stock 1.3 litre doesn't stop in time, let alone a custom built..

merits=stable power(no lag) good daily use(if properly tuned) demerits=will need to run too much boost/will be hard on the crank/very expensive setup
millage effect?
depends on driving and how the ecu is tuned
maintainance?
50% quicker oil change/will eat plugs sooner
setup cost?depends on parts being used:
a reliable daily driven setup will cost around 300k or more that includes supercharger kit with pullies etc/standalone ecu/oil,water,boost,afr gauges/ wideband o2 kit/ complete exhaust/fpr/larger injectors/bigger fuel pump/etc etc
parts availability?

Bro ima be honest. 3zz engine is not powerful enough to withstand such boost. You will need to reinforce a lot of things and that will cost you way more. You can instead just move to a 2zz for naturally aspirated decent horsepower and look for a TRD supercharger with it or mod a 1zz instead since some of the parts from a 1zz are interchangeable with a 2zz. If you wanna mod your engine on a budget with some horsepower increase and by some I mean 10 or 14 max lol then just replace your intake manifold, throttle body, and fuel injectors with 1zz parts and you will get a fun drive. It won't smoke anything you race it against but it will just feel good to drive as the throttle response will be a lot better.
