4 Pin Spark Plug advantages & disadvantages

1- I just wanted to know what are the advantages and disadvantages of this kind of plugs. I have installed it in my Baleno JXR 2004 model with 140k kms, hiccups are gone and the car is smooth. But later on somebody told me that it increases fuel consumption and are not reliable plugs. They tend to leak more and as compared to other plugs. I dont know if this is psychic or what but my car is giving very less mileage for like 230kms in 30 ltrs :-/ . And if this is not the best plug for my car then also recommend me some good plugs.

2- If low mileage is not the problem with the plugs then what should I do?

Recommended plugs for Baleno are NGK G-Power Platinum bkr6egp / Denso IK20 Iridium Power...

4pins only create more resistance for the spark.

if you want to improve the current, check your coils, battery and starter for faults.. Also tune your car from a good mechanic or Suzuki 3S.
also only go for computerized tuning..

4Point Spark plug means low resistance so more current will be required indirectly it can effect the coil life time. 4Point Spark plug requires after market high current ignition coil.

gotta add i used bosh 4 tips in mehran and drove nealry 40k with them at first no one notice the difference but when i changed plug wires car had better pick
fuel efficency is just ok with them
and coil was also burnt after 2 years of use but mistake was mine as i hooked cd player to coil
and baleno has recomended plugs g power

Multiple ground electrodes generally provide longer life, as when the spark gap widens due to electric discharge wear, the spark moves to another closer ground electrode. The disadvantage of multiple ground electrodes is that a shielding effect can occur in the engine combustion chamber inhibiting the flame face as the fuel air mixture burns. This can result in a less efficient burn and increased fuel consumption.
However some times,ignition coil may gets excessively heat up at the beginning and stop working.
