Today I rode from Portland, OR to Seattle, WA.
The nights stay at Eric's house was fantastic. He's an amazing guy and took care of me like one would treat their best friend. Thanks Eric for a great meal and awesome company!
Today's photo album has a photo I thought you guys should check out to see the difference between a REAL touring bike and MY touring bike. My seat has less than half an inch of cushion and the KTM has about a foot, haha.
I stopped by at the Adidas US headquarters in Portland. While taking pictures a security guard came and asked me to delete all the pictures and the video. I kept asking him questions and while he was explaining the law to me I emailed the video and some pictures to myself and then deleted them from my phone. He inspected the phone and let me go.
From Portland I took Highway 30 towards the coast, it was a nightmare. There was hard rain for about two hours and I couldn't take it any more. I had zero visibility and it started to get cold again so I stopped at a gas station for directions. I got some food there and met two Pakistanis, Yasir and his uncle. They said I'm the only Pakistani they have ever seen in this part of the state and were in shock. They offered me to take anything I wanted from their store and they wouldn't charge me anything. This is hospitality, Pakistani love!!!
It kept raining for a while and so I hoped back onto Interstate 5 and got to Seattle in no time.
I'm gonna rest up here for a day then head to Vancouver.
