Asalamualikum everyone,
I am planning to install solar system for my home in phases, as i cannot bear the initial upfront cost.
I currently have a 12V UPS (which can save me cost of inverter currently).
The suggestion i want is which one the following should i do:
- Purchase 12V panels to generate power and use UPS or
- Purchase 24/48V panels to generate power and use a step-down convertor and then use my 12V UPS
I do understand that there will be power loss with 2nd option but would give me the ability to upgrade later on.
In your opinion what should i do??
