problem cannot be with your gaskit... had it been a gaskit problem, your car would had heat up issues regardless of wether you switch your ac on or not...

change your radiator since it does looses its efficiency with the passage of time...

Under almost 20% a/c load engine requires good efficient cooling system.

The condensor in these cars is also old type, the newer type of condensor are thin multi aisle ones and they pass air to the radiator almost 40% better than these old ones.

I mean there can be sooo many problems that i have experianced can cause over heating.

I had same issue with my charade and i tried all the totka you can find but in the end i searched for a 3 channel yes 3 nali diesel radiator for my charade and never faced overheating issue again :p.

Hows the condition of your radiator? if ur still using the plastic tanks than i am sure its not as bad as mine which got tanks replaced, Almost 4 or 5 lines were rusted so i asked the radiator wala to block them and its a old one, completed its service life still i am still using it. This car came original with 2 fan fittings and also wiring got 2 fan wirings.

ali i got a bouble nalli radiator brand new for 3800 in replacement with 1 years warranty. got it frm ahaat mithu khan saddar.

It solved heating problems for me!

Change Compressor adn check its clutch as its putting extra load on ENgine

Thanx all for your replies.. today i went to mechanic he hved checked head gaskit it is fine.. i m going to put additional fan on radiator

All these old model compressor's put load on engine and its normal. 4 AFE is a 1600cc engine it should be able to pull this load.

If compressor is not making any noises than its working fine.

I also good similar compressor in my 1300cc 2e with 134 gas and XE Eveporator and no issues of heating.

Only compressor i have heard of that puts less load or close to no load is XLI and Mini Pajero.

Please check the thermostat valve and ensure its working properly, it should allow water to flow in once it is required. Fan should also be automatic.

c if the condensor fans working when the a.c is on. As u mentioned its only heating on A.c on and its normal with out a.c

Asks the electrition to install relay to the condensor fan. This will improve the cooling and also help in heating little bit.

Yup thats one of the reasons get it checked by any a.c mechanic a.c shop theyll let u noe if adding a relay would work or the motor has to replaced. Once the motor is replaced they might also claim a weak compresor, etc but the condensor fan is just the begining i hope it works out for you.

The same thing hapend with me recently that the car drove fine as a.c is turned on after about half an hour the car got hot, as soon as the a.c if off the car comes to normal tempreture, so its not the car thats getting hot its the condensor that isnt cooling as it should. So its not safe driving in such conditions.

water cooling path inside is clogged with salt. have your engine flushed with chemicals

First get it checked by a A.c technitian, maybe the slow speed is normal speed. Let the A.c mechanic guide you what to do then add a relay or wat so ever.
