4afe Region and Generation

If anyone know kindly tell me how we check the region of 4afe. Because for diff regions it have diff HP. It varies from 100HP to 115HP.

Secondly how we check its 2nd generation or 3rd generation engine because shape wise both are same.

Ecu can tell you from which region it is.
Both 2nd and 3rd generation has different intake manifolds. 2nd came in ae101 while 3rd came in ae111

Is 4afe 2nd generation is SOHC and 3rd generation is DOHC ?

All are dohc twincam 16v.

You have any pic or reference link for 3rd generation 4afe to differentiate from 2nd generation.

Intake manifold is different and as said above 3rd gen came in ae110 and ae111.
