Engine taken out. Now i had to decide the new color of the car cauze i had to get the engine bay painted. After thinking for 2 days i came up with this.

This is Graphite Gray A-39 of Mitsubishi lancer evolution. I Loved electric blue but its very common these days so i went with this. Maybe a sleeper look

The fabrication of the cross member was started and after a couple of days the engine was test fitted.

Engine bay being prepared to get painted.

I used German products for painting the engine bay, I guess it was something like glasso. First coat started.

Second and third coat of paint.

Are you going to get a R&P for it? IMHO its a must, You can get one out of 84/85 Starlet. Oh and try and see if you can have a header made for it as well.

What does R&P stands for? Lol sorry i'm a bit dumb with abbreviations.
I already got the headers made, They are a perfect copy of The OBX headers for 20v bt

They look like these but they aren't chromed cauze i'll heat wrap them.

Gr8 that you got uncut wiring still make sure you check all connection to ECU. I done a 7A swap recently and I had same wiring like yours but STA wire was cut that caused motor to consume 4 KMPL fuel and no torque

Thanks Bro. I paid 55k for the motor which included harness,sensors,flywheel and the ecu.
The wiring for the ecu is grip to grip but still we have to extend the wiring harness for the rwd conversion

its cheaper you modify the throttle cover with yr engine yrself in khi. the one i have is in lhr and will cost yu extra on transport.

i dont know if yr interested in itb's. this is more expensive optionn if yes then you dont need the cover and k&n cone.

today i was having a meeting on importing itb filters 70mm, thy cost 80usd. + shipping. + plus importer charges also come user's pocket,

foam filters need to be handled very carefully. dnt last too long in pk due to mishandling (plus ppl poke them whenever you open the hood)

. one needs a newer set annually. now the thing is i was alone and there is no bulk buying from tech toy tuning. ( i have techtoy tuned 20v) i used their suggestions and ideas on what do i need to do.

what am trying to say is book yr foam filters from same importer to get lower rate.

Rashid bhai i dont need the intake box so i got rid of it cauze i'm planning to run trumpets.

Importing filters will be a head ache for me plus they r quite expensive, I'm planning on making some good custom filters on my own, So i just have to keep my fingers crossed for the time being.

I dont think the uni filters will even last for an year in khi cauze khi is way too dusty. Changing them after short intervals is not cheap.

Now i need your suggestion for tuning my ride :-p

you painted the firewall , means yr not cutting dist. slot in firewalll.

Thanks once again. I was so confused about the color earlier but i guess i made a wise choice, The one on the new corolla is different. This is a multi shade color which changes in different lightening conditions

Yes Rashid bhai i removed the heater pipes to fit the distributor.

This was the best idea i could come up with, because i was against cutting the firewall.The heater box can still be fitted in the same place but we will have to make a new place for the heater pipes. But i'll just remove the heater box cauze it improves the cooling and the heaters are never used in khi

This is when i opened the valve cover for the first time. It was pretty clean.

Some more things that i got for the work to go on. A bigger and better brake booster for better braking, looked out for the best and the cleanest one. New upper and lower clutch cylinders, A Japanese twin row aluminium radiator with high speed fans, it is in a stunning condition.

New front complete shocker assembly including the front brake setup with twin ventilated discs from Toyota corona. These are twice the size of ke70's braking system

Bought this Tanabe USA muffler from a pakwheels member Sinner, He's a great guy, he got me the sexiest thing out thr. Its a Tanabe tuner medalion racing muffler. Jasma approved
