@Xulfiqar. Yep you're right. It must've caused the boiling issue with the previous motor because of the pipe being higher than the radiator but since we didnt run it much (went for the swap the very next day when we bought it) so cant really say if the issue occured or not. But its working fine with the current setup since now the pipe coming from the engine is a lot lower than the one on the radiator. About the fan fins warping, I noticed that too but didnt think it'll matter much so didnt replace it. Would you suggest to get a new one locally made or would one off the shelf work too?

@Hassan4772. Yes its a G101 chasis which has a diesel motor as stock and the rest of it is basically pretty much like the g100. Goodluck with your project too Since you're getting the bodywork done first, I'd suggest you to leave the painting bit till after the swap so that the paint doesnt get damaged while the swap is undergone.

@All. The cost for denting was around 10k which included the dismantling and the reassembling etc. And the paintjob was done for 22k.

@Waqasjamil. Yep it comes bolt on in the 98 corolla. The engine is basically from the same shape of corolla. About the diesel engine, not really sure but it was adjusted in the amount 53k. It was pretty much at its last stages so it was scrap.

@060276. The fuel average when driven carefully and under 80 is around 14-15. It drops to around 12 if the revs are kept high.

Yes the engine number has to be changed in the registration book to make it a legal swap. For that you'll need a receipt of the engine.

A small update.

Although the valve cover was pretty clean, but I felt the need for it to be cleaner. So out came the drill with a wirebrush bit on it.

This is what it looked before cleaning it.

After ~3 hours of cleaning and polishing using brasso and scotchbrite, here are the results.
