by far the best charade that i have seen in recent times....superb job brother...MASHALLAH!!!!

the best job done is paint...
we did the same project last year...
only issue is that "font suspension can not hold this engines torque and power"

change the brake system cause ur current brake system will not match the power on a down hill ...

heavy & high rev engine will make ur car front suspenson weaken too quickly on sharp turns....

with current configuration she is a sweeto in drag....switch to four forward manual gearbox for down hill races...

change the gear shifter to wired one and make ur life at ease...

over all its a very fun thing to do such project and the best thing is about putting the beauty in a race with altis on m way or bringing her down hill ...(Get the suspension checked and tuned after every race ).....

1. The brake servo is soon to be replaced with a bigger and a more efficient one.

1. The front suspension does seem a little on the softer side because the front shocks are pretty much goners. They'll be replaced too very soon. Since you've done this project before, any pointers to the suspension would be appreciated. A strut bar is on the wishlist too.

2. The shifter is already a wired one.

3. This particular transmission has pretty tall gear ratios so I'm happy with the transmission. Plus the revs stay very low while cruising at 80-90 (2.2-2.3k rpm) which really helps the mileage.

Btw i noticed the word race quite some times in your reply :). The sole purpose of this car is not drag racing its basically a daily driver which has the power to mess around with the big boys on the road when you're in the mood.

i have an 84 model diesel charade and thinking of swapping it with a 4e-fe as well. i went to mittu khan ka ahataa over the weekend. saw many engines. my mouth was watering seeing so many cool engines

anyway, most shopkeepers were trying to convince me to put a charade petrol 1000cc engine. and that 4efe isnt a good idea - i however dont believe them

@Lafafa. Thanks bro. As per the mechanics, the engine bay needs some cutting and welding to install the 4e-fe into a G11 charade. G100/101 is wider than the G11 and still there's barely an inch gap between the transmission and the chassis although the engine fits it without any alteration to the engine bay and the stock mounting points of the chassis are used with adapters made to install the engine mounts. I'm pm'ing you my number.

After ~3 hours of cleaning and polishing using brasso and scotchbrite, here are the results.

It was tilted backwards back when the bottom mount was installed by a monkey and it wasnt installed right. Now the mount has been replaced and the engine sits perfectly straight.
