It is altered tank, but the pump sits at the bottom and the tank is always more than half full. The pump works just fine on initial startup, after driving a while it starts to loose pressure and the fuel line gets jerks. Also after choking the return line the pressure increases and the engine can rev a little higher. I've checked the wiring and all other sensors all are working fine.
