4G92 MIVEC DOHC engine in a 95 Civic?

Yeah I know I know,Ur thinking its another stupid swap from urs Truly,but I really need to know more abt this from the experts as I have found one of these beauties and am impressed by its specs(Made me wanna sell my Civic and buy a Mitsu :)) although the 11.5 compression does worry me.Will it require lots of alterations and stuff?and is it worth investing in?or is just plain stupid to start with.(My apologies to the Honda lovers for posting this thread)

better off buying a Lancer for this than fitting in civy. or there is a LRE 3 black FTO for sale in Lhr.
Get that car.

I dont know anything further about how to trace that FTO for you, you have to use yr own sources if you need it,

Honda has its own line of capable engines and i believe they will be easier to drop in. Threads about dropping X engine into Y car are easier to post than think. I mean comeon, no one had a look in the bay and engine mounts neither we are practical mechanics here. Apply some common sense and ask a mechanic. With right amount of cash, you can drop anything into anything as lot it fits. How about a V8???

Dude i have made my decision,am gonna go with a d15b Sohc Vtec or a D16Z6 whichever I can get with low mileage,I just wanted to ask the experts abt this swap as I was really impressed by Mitsu's MIVEC technology,this MIVEC equipped engine has upto 172hp(for some versions) from a 1.6 NA engine,Now I'm a fan of the 4G92 MIVEC :).

I dont think K20A can fit in a 95 Civic ! Its more suited to the 7th Generation Civic !

and better swap Mitsubishi engine on Mitsubishi Chassy...!

4G92 MIVEC DOHC or MIVEC DOHC with Modular displacement?

the modular displacement version kills of fueling to certain cylinders at times to save fuel which could be great for fuel economy, ... along with 172hp when needed.

these came in lancers from 1992-1996 (gen6 lancer GLXi)

A K20 can be swapped in the 92-95 civic chasis but the motor mounts need to be replaced.

It also depends upon how u want to use the car?
will it be daily drivn or sports only?
in first case go for D series or B and for second case go for K or H series which off course is more difficult and expensive to Impliment.

A stock B can be easily dialy driven! N stock H or even K!

So what's the verdict on this?Easy,difficult,or "U must be outta ur mind" difficult swap?As I must know cuz I have to make a decision.Wish I had bought a Mitsu instead :(,not that the civic is bad or anything its gr8,but just cuz of this engine.
