Salam guys,

Can anyone please recommend an old and reliable 4x4 vehicle brand and model within 3 to 3.5M budget? My day to day use will be in city and then occasional off-road. Thanks

Toyota Surf 1996-2002, get a petrol 2.7 version after a detailed pre purchase inspection from a reputed 4x4 workshop.

In case you are considering other vehicles, test drive a Surf 2.7 and compare it to the others.

Do consider manual transmission. In my personal experience... auto transmissions in these old 4x4s are difficult and costly to fix and maintain.

in my opinion, it has enough power for city and occasional offroad duty.
Vehicles with more powerful engines will either be older and difficult to maintain OR expensive and out of budget
you can get a good idea by test driving a few surf and other vehicles

btw - the online demanded prices are too high and deals rarely happen on those prices, find one slow and steady
