If you are brave enough, go buy property in Spain or Greece. Prices have fallen down to dirt cheap levels there and will definitely go up in the coming few years. I know its a long shot for a Pakistani living in middle east to buy a property in south of Europe but its a thought worth considering, given the pricing of houses there right now. There are 100s and 100s of properties confiscated by banks which are being auctioned at very low prices.

You can buy property in Spain as a non-resident if you don't need bank financing. if u do, then you need to be a resident. Not sure about Greece.
