You started this thread in Feb 2014 and today it is Jan 2016, did you invested the money in anything or not? Prices have doubled in the past 2 years. Bahria is another story, it increased to a good 27 lac on a 500 yard plot but now it is around 6 lac.

Dont wander to infamous places. If you want to invest in Islamabad then DHA and Bahria are safe bets as there are no fraudulent cases till yet.

OTOH the CDA sectors yield better but you never know that you will get possession or not, when you return to build or to sell.

BTK is a good investment. Get 2 or 3, 500 yds file and keep paying the quarterly installments. It will definately yield gain it may be getting ready in 2 years time. Sell it once your desired value is achieved.

in my view, it is too risky to invest millions in a place as far as BTK. Although it will have all the facilities but you will be too far from the main business hub i.e. karachi.

like I already suggested, use this 50lac as deposit and get a house loan from an islamic bank(according to ulema it is halal, till you make a delayed payment).

don't use agent etc...do it yourself. find a property that is under priced. 5-7% is excellent rent. pakistan gives avg of around 3-5% just to give you an idea.

bank loans in uae are cheaper than 5-7% per annum, so you'll be making good money even on borrowed money. If I'm not wrong, banking regulations are still not as strict in uae as they are in pakistan, so you could get a decent amount of money from the bank.

What about trading (import / export)? If you want to play safe, buy any good reputed telecom franchise.
