Don't know what's wrong with high denomination currency. I have been to Japan and Italy and 10, 20 and 30,000 notes were common there. But still they are developed countries!

Nope , no problem, even a 10,000 rupee Note is no problem.
But the only problem poor Low-grade government and even Private employees will face, is, that a clerk or anyone of this class will get a Single Note of Rs.5,000 as a Full Month's pay can you Imagine how much prices of Grocery stuff including atta, chawal, aloo, piaz will go up ? the poor class will suffer the most, those having good grades in GOOD departments such as Customs/agriculture/police/Irrigation/Wapda/etc (the list is too long) will flourish, the bribe being a lac rupee will reach the 5 lac rupee mark, the bribe being a 1000/2000 rupee will be a Single Note of 5,000 rupee only
