I have an 88 corolla. It was initially in diesel, a great car, had lots of good memories in it. I made a stupid decision of swapping the engine. I had installed a 4E engine, the engine was great but it was a gas guzzler, 5 something km/liter, I tried multiple wiring walas but all failed. I then installed CNG and the mileage was much better. used that engine for a good decade before it died out. Installed another Kabli 5AFE with auto transmission in hopes that my mileage problem could be gone but here I am stuck with the same fate. My car doesn't understand the difference between city and long, it just can't quench its thirst, Its a bit better 7 or 8 km highway with AC, 8 to 9 without AC. I am tired of going to these BIG USTAAD Gs spending tens of thousands and not getting any relief. Its been 13 or so years that my car has lost its glory and I am yet to figure out what's bothering my queen
