Hello. My question is does 4afe map sensor is work with 5afe engine?.because i tried to put 4afe map and my engine does not start.
If generation is same then maybe but engine will not perform to optimum.
Ok.i have 1st gen 5afe. Im stock with the map sensor problem.when i connect map .my engine stall.
Change the map and install specific 5afe 1st gen map as 1st gen is different electronically then other gens.

Did you gave the external vacuum?
Ignition on. .attached to the vaccum hose. Wont start
Ive got 5volts from red wire.and 0 volts frm brown. .
Drop the vacuum then see voltages drops or not.Initial reading is correct.
If you swapped a map sensor on a running engine engine will stall doesnt mean map sensor is bad map sensor for all A series engine are same even suzuki g series have same map sensors
Ive tried my stock map frim 4afe and still run.
No its not 1st gen 4afe/5afe map/tps are change. Engine will not work to its optimum level.
