Ok tech heads I am going for a swap from my 2E to 5EFE I am hoping for better power and peformance with A/C on CNG. Will I?
Now there are two types of 5EFE one is 1st generation and 2nd generation i will give details of both as far as i kno.
1st generation
Uses Distrbutor Ignition system
Produces 100HP but at higher RPM of around 6200.
Torque is 91 at 3400RPM
The Intake dia was 50MM. which was later reduced to 45 in the 2nd generation tubalar type intake which was for better economy and low emissions.
2nd Generation
Produces 91HP but at lower RPM of 5400
Produces more Torque 100 AT 3200RPM.
Above all it uses DIS distributerless ignition system that got famous coils.
Now my mechanic wants distrubutor type engine which is better tuneable on CNG my question is shall i get this distributor type one even though this is 1st generation one and i am more interested in 2nd generation one.
I will be mainly using car on CNG and petrol as well some time.
Please do help as most of my questions are not answered here i guess these are not common easy ones
