Kia Lucky can hire all the same and more influencers as well as Pakwheels people as unofficial brand ambassadors and Sportage will still not make a dent. Why? Because at the end of the day:
Product has to be good and attractive enough to its potential customers.
It has to be priced right. This ârightâ is variable and depends on market dynamics that change from time to time.
H6 was priced higher but it was fair price for the people who bought it then. It had no close competitor and there was no existing reference price to compete with. So it sold well.
Kia cannot turn a blind eye and play the same game which Sazgar played earlier because H6 exists and has a big market share too. In order to succeed, Kia should have priced it competitively which they didnât. Now they will either discount it semi-permanently or sell in low numbers vs H6.
A practical example of this stupidity is highlighted when you compare Sportage 2.0 FWD with H6 2.0 AWD.
Sportage neither competes on features nor on price. H6 AWD is a good 1.5 million less, both are non-hybrid and offers tons of more features.
